Governor of Jharkhand M.O.H. Farook has sent a report to the Centre about the present political position in the state. This follows the claim staked by BJP to form the Government with the support of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), All Jharkhand Student Union (AJSU), JD(U) and two Independent MLAs. Mr. Arjun Munda has already been elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. The report says that BJP leader Arjun Munda enjoys the support of 45 MLAs. AIR correspondent reports that on Tuesday, the BJP legislature party leader Arjun Munda met the Governor and presented him a list of 45 Legislatures supporting him in the State Assembly of 81 members. Mr. Munda was accompanied by State party President Raghubar Das, JMM legislature party leader Hemant Soren and All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) Legislature Party leader Sudesh Mahto along with 44 MLAs. This is the second time that the BJP and JMM have come together to form a government in Jharkhand in less than 10 months.
