<span style="color: #222222;">In Jharkhand, the State Government has issued strict directives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to not carry out procession on upcoming festivals of Ramanavami and Sarhul to contain the spread of COVID-19. State government has also urged people to avoid congregation and gathering at public places during the festival season of Holi, Shab-e-barat, Sarhul, Ramanavami, Navmi Puja and Easter celebrations falling the next week.<br />'' <br />'' In the directives issued by the State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh the Government has urged people to celebrate Holi in a simple manner and avoid crowding. The state government said that celebrations during the festivals should be confined to temples, churches and places of worship following the COVID-19 protocols.<br />'' <br />'' Local administration has been directed to administer the Containment and micro-containment zones as per the said guidelines. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' All Holidays of police personnel have been called off during the festive season to do the needful. People have been asked to adhere to COVID-19 protocols, of wearing masks, using hand sanitisers etc and maintaining social distancing.</span><br />''<br />
