Jharkhand: COVID-19 cases reach 4613, Entry without masks at public places restricted

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jharkhand, 873 active COVID-19 cases were detected in a single day yesterday, taking the total count to 4613 in the State. COVID-19 infection is spreading rapidly in the state. Health department has instructed to ensure strict compliance of COVID guidelines and marking of Containment zones to check the spread of the infection.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Ranchi Correspondent reports that Ranchi district alone accounts for half of the active cases of the state. Presently 2622 active cases are being treated at various COVID hospitals. 26 teachers and students of two residential schools of Ranchi have also been tested COVID positive. Six residential colonies in Ranchi including MECON colony have been sealed and marked as COVID Containment zone.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Entry without masks at public places, airports, railway stations and bus-stands has been completely restricted. Medical teams are testing for COVID-19 in the passengers coming from outside the state at all entry points after the Recovery rate has further dropped to 95.46 percent, while the State Police Department has directed all police personnel to get themselves vaccinated amidst the spread of COVID-19.</span><br />''  <br />
