Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghuwar Das attended his duty soon after taking oath of office this morning at Birsa Munda football Stadium of Morhabadi in Ranchi. In his first Cabinet meeting it was decided to extend social security pensions to all widows, prime tribes (adim janjati) and aged persons. The Cabinet also decided to fill- up all the vacant posts in the state government. It was also decided to make Stefan Marandi as Protem Speaker and the first session of fourth Assembly of Jharkhand will be held from 6th to 9th January. Earlier today morning, BJP MLAs C P Singh, Neelkanth Singh Munda and Luis Marandi and AJSU MLA Chandra Prakash Choudhri also took oath as Ministers.
Union Ministers Nitin Gaadkari, Venkaiah Naidu, MoS Sudershan Bhagat, Ram Kripal Yadav and Chief Ministers of Chhatisgarh Raman Singh and Maharashtra Devendra Phadnavis were also present, besides many other significant dignitaries.
AIR Ranchi Correspondent adds that Chief Minister Raghuwar Das also undertook cleaning drive for 'Clean India Drive' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
