<span style="color: #222222;">After a constant increase in the rising number of Corona infected patients in the state, the State Government is committed to provide better health facilities to COVID-19 patients in the quarantine centre and isolation wards working at RIMS in Ranchi. Chief Minister Hemant Soren through a joint support of doctors, plasma consultants and specialists has given his consent to initiate the Plasma therapy in the state effectively. Recovery of eight Corona infected patients in the state has given a ray of hope in this direction.<br />'' <br />'' In Jharkhand, the State Government is working on the treatment of COVID-19 patients through Plasma Therapy in coordination with doctors, specialists and plasma consultants. Treatment of critically-ill COVID-19 patients has been possible as per the report submitted by ICMR and approved by DGCI. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh in a meeting with the doctors and consultants has given his nod for initiation of collection, conservation and storage of plasma to be taken from patients who have recovered from the deadly disease. Plasma collected from one such patient can be used for treatment of critically-ill two patients of COVID-19.<br />'' <br />'' With a rapid increase in the number of infected patients in the state, the new therapy will prove handy in treatment of COVID-19 patients. The blood banks, private hospitals and specialist doctors showing their solidarity have come forward in this cause to provide free service in storage of plasma and counselling of recovered patients for collection of their plasma samples.<br />'' <br />'' So far, 49 cases have been detected from the state, and eight patients have recovered from COVID-19 and returned to their homes. Meanwhile, three people have succumbed to death due to the Virus infection.  </span><br />
