Jharkhand Chief Minister has approved the dismissal of 22 serving Additional District Judges (ADJ) of the state. The ADJs were appointed on the recommendations of 11th Financial Commission and are posted in different districts of the state. The decision was taken on a recommendation of Department of Personnel and in view of an order from the Jharkhand High Court on 7th March 2011, which had cancelled the appointments of these 22 ADJs on grounds of gross procedural irregularities.
