Jharkhand based Public Sector mining company- Central Coalfield Limited, CCL, has exceeded the coal production target in the year 2015-16 and have shown production growth of 10.25 percent. <br/><br/>Speaking to media today at Ranchi, CCL CMD Gopal Singh said that this year coal production was 61.35 million tones, against the target of 60.60 million tones. <br/><br/>He also said that the CCL has shown record performance in various sphere, like coal loading and dispatches has seen eight percent growth while productivity grew by 19 percent in comparison to last year. <br/><br/>Lauding the roles of State and Central government, he said that land authentication for coal mines have seen phenomenal growth- in comparison to long time annual average of around 300 hectares, this year the land authentication for coal mining was ten thousand three hundreds hectares. <br/><br/>Mr. Singh said that this means more than five thousands new regular jobs would be given, as the CCL has policy of providing one job for every two hectares of land acquired, besides the actual compensation of the land. <br/><br/>He added that one regular job in the CCL creates 10 new employments avenues for others, so by implication nearly 50 thousands additional employment avenues have been created in Jharkhand last year.
