The bandh has been called to protest against the arrest of their Polit Bureau member Jagdish Master in Bihar recently.In capital Ranchi, the bandh affected the services of long distance buses and trucks, however, the rail services remained unaffected.In Latehar, Gumla and Khunti areas normal life came to stand still. A mobile tower of a private mobile company in Palamu was exploded by the naxals today.
