Jharkhand, formed 10 years ago, should have a branch of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). State Chief Secretary Dr. A.K.Singh has requested Union Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee that apart from having a branch of the RBI, a Regional Director should also be posted in the state. The Chief Secretary was representing Jharkhand in the regional conference of Chief Ministers and Finance Ministers under the chairmanship of Mr. Pranab Mukherjee at Patna yesterday.
