Jharkhand government has approved a draft of Right to Service Act 2011. The decision was taken on Tuesday in a Cabinet meeting held at Ranchi. According to the provision of the Act, different time limits have been fixed for delivery of various services in the state government departments. If the works are not done within the stipulated limit, the concerned officers would be fined. The draft would be presented before the upcoming session of the State Assembly for passing it after a discussion.
