In Jharkhand, Independence Day is being celebrated in all over the State with traditional fervour. The main function was held at the capital Ranchi where the Chief Minister Arjun Munda hoisted the tricolour at Morhabadi Ground. In his address, Mr. Munda highlighted various achievements of the State Government and announced few new schemes also.
The State Governor, M.O.H. Farook hoisted the tricolour at Dumka.
