<br/>Union Minister Anand Sharma, Congress leader Oscar Fernandes, BJP leaders Venkaiah Naidu and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan, noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani and industrialist Vijay Mallya are among the prominent winners in the Rajya Sabha elections held for 18 seats in five states on Thursday. <br/> <br/>In Bihar, besides Mr Paswan and Mr Rudy, RJD's Ram Kripal Yadav, JDU's Upendra Kushwaha and R C P Singh won the polls. Independent candidate B G Uday got only two votes. <br/> <br/>In the neighbouring Jharkhand, JMM candidate K. D. Singh and the Congress- JVM member Dheeraj Prasad Sahu have been declared elected for the two Rajya Sabha seats. <br/> <br/>In Karnataka, BJP leaders Venkaiah Naidu and A. Manjunath and Congress leader Oscar Fernandes were declared elected. Fourth seat went to Independent candidate and business tycoon Vijay Mallya. <br/> <br/>In Rajasthan, Congress and BJP have bagged two seats each. Mr. Anand Sharma and Mr. Ashk Ali Tak of Congress and Mr. V.P. Singh and Mr. Ram Jethmalani of BJP have been declared winners. <br/> <br/>In Orissa, the ruling Biju Janata Dal bagged all the three seats. Two Congress MLAs and one BJP legislature did not participate in the election. <br/>
