The Janta Dal ( United) promised that if their government is voted to power there will be ten percent development rate of the state for the next five years.Releasing Party manifesto along with Party president Sharad Yadav at Patna on Monday evening Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that Food security schemes will be formulated to provide foodgrains to BPL families. Mr. Kumar asserted that agricultural production will be doubled and a separate commission will be constituted to suggest welfare measures for the upper-class sections of the society. In manifesto it has also been promised to make arrangement for marriages of the daughter of the poor people of the state.
