JD(U) decides to raise Bihar issues in Budget Session

The Janata Dal (United) has decided to raise the national and regional issues, particularly those related to Bihar, in the Budget Session of Parliament. The decision was taken at its Parliamentary Party meeting, chaired by its President Sharad Yadav in New Delhi today.A party press release said, the MPs in both the Houses, will demand a special economic package to the state after Jharkhand was carved out of it. They will also demand coal linkages for Barauni Thermal Power Plant and the setting up of a Central University at Motihari.
