Janata Dal (United) has condemned RSS ideologue M.G. Vaidya's statement that the caste based reservation in government jobs and educational institutes should be abolished. Party spokesperson K C Tyagi said such remarks are against the rights of backward and dalit communities.

Mr. Tyagi also questioned the silence of NDA leaders like LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan, RLSP President Upendra Kushwaha and HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi on the issue as they have been supporter of the caste based reservation.

He alleged that they are doing so just for the sake of their political opportunism. The JD(U) spokesperson said yesterday's JD(U), RJD and Congress joint rally has forced such argument from the RSS.
