JDU-BJP: Tug of war in Bihar continues

<br/><br/>The tug of war in Bihar between the ruling alliance JDU-BJP is continuing. The Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi has announced that he would not be accompanying the Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar during the ongoing Biswas Yatra. The two leaders had been undertaking the yatra to review government schemes in different districts of the State. AIR correspondent K.K. Lal reports that Mr. Modi's step is being seen as protest against Mr. Nitish Kumar returning the Kosi flood relief to the Gujarat Government.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, the State BJP president Dr. C.P. Thakur said that the party will try to pacify the whole affair. Mr. Thakur said that if it becomes necessary, the party will go alone in upcoming state assembly elections. On the other hand, JDU spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari, blamed the BJP for creating a rift in the alliance.
