The AIADMK Supremo Ms. Jayalalithaa was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu today. At a colourful ceremony at the Madras University Centenary auditorium the Tamil Nadu Governor Surjeet Singh Barnala administered the oath of office to Ms.Jayalalithaa who has taken on the mantle of the Chief Ministership for the third time. Alongwith her, 33 ministers of her cabinet were also sworn in. Prominent among the ministers is former Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam and Sengottaiyan who has been a loyalist from the period of late Chief Minister MG Ramachandran. The DMDK leader who is to be the leader of opposition Vijaykant, and all other leaders of the AIADMK front were also present in the ceremony. Renowned political leaders Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi,Telegu Desam Party leader Chandra Babu Naidu and General secretary of CPI A.B.Baradhan were also present as special invitees.
