The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa slammed the Lankan Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse for his remarks against a Tamil Nadu Assembly resolution seeking economic sanctions against his country on the Tamils’ issue.In her reply to the special call attention motion moved by opposition parties in the Assembly on Thursday, Ms. Jayalalithaa demanded that India should condemn the remarks made by him since it was demeaning the sovereignty of the Assembly.
