Jayalalitha today welcomed the appointment of a committee by United Nations to look into alleged human rights violations during the war against LTTE in Sri Lanka. The AIADMK supremo said it gave confidence that all was not lost for Tamil race and people. She claimed that Sri Lanka should have no objection in giving the UN delegation free access if the Mahinda Rajapakse government had nothing to hide. A team from her party will meet the three member committee appointed by UN Secretary Ban Ki Moon to give evidence of the war crimes.
