In Tamil Nadu, the AIADMK General Secretary Jayalaitha met the Governor Mr. Surjit Singh Barnala in Chennai this morning and staked her claim to form the next government in the state. She will be sworn in tomorrow. Earlier, newly elected AIADMK MLAs unanimously elected Ms. Jayalaitha as leader of the legislative Party.
