Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalitha met the Prime Minister in New Delhi today. She submitted a detailed memorandum containing issues ranging from the alleged war crimes against Tamils in Sri Lanka to special package for fishermen and enhanced central allocations to the state.Later briefing the media, she demanded the Prime Minister to drop Textile Minister Dayanidhi Maran from the Cabinet in view of charges leveled against him in the 2 G Spectrum scam. Ms. Jayalalitha said that the whole country is concerned about the issue of corruption and the Supreme Court is playing an active role in tackling the menace. On the issue of AIADMK's support to Central Government, she said, Congress is still in alliance with the DMK, so there is no question of any realignment at the centre.
