The Special court Judge B M Mallikarjunaiah, trying the disproportionate asset case against Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha has adjourned the case to the 8th of next month.The counsel for Jayalalithaa, B Kumar informed media persons in Bangalore today that Judge sought answers for 570 questions in the last two days, out of 1339 that were listed. He disclosed that Judge has asked Jayalalitha to appear once again next month and they will appeal against it in the Supreme Court.He explained that Supreme Court had allowed two days to the Special court to seek submissions and since appearance is sought once again, they will appeal to Supreme Court against it.On the other hand Public Prosecutor B V Acharya informed that Judge sought replies on sources of income for the gold, silver articles and sarees found in her position, amounting to 66 crore rupees.In reply Jayalalitha replied that gold seized from her house was overvalued, silver articles were planted in her house by the police and sarees found were for distribution among the poor.Mr. Acharya said Jayalalitha also replied that she was just silent partner in the companies allegedly associated with her.
