Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha appeared before Lokayuktha special Judge B M Mallikarjunaiah in Bangalore on Thursday to record her statement in the disproportionate asset case.Senior counsel for Jayalalitha, Kumar informed that Judge sought answers to 379 questions today and submission of answers byJayalalitha will continue on Friday also. Gandhi Bhavan situated in front of Bangalore Central Jail is converted into a temporary court to record her statement.She is appearing before the Special Court in Bangalore for the first time since the case was transferred to Bangalore in 2003.Jayalalitha is facing allegation that she acquired assets worth about 66 crore rupees, disproportionate to her known sources of income during her tenure as Chief Minister between 1991 and 1996.
