Tamilnadu Chief Minister Ms.J.Jayalalitha has said that the Atomic Energy Department and others involved in the Koodamkulan Nuclear Project should take steps to instil confidence in the minds of the people. In a press note released today, she added that, until then there should be no further work at the plant. She reieterated that it was the responsibility of the Central Government to explain and create awareness among the protestors. Our correspondent reports that over a hundred protestors resumed their indefinite hunger protest at the site today.
