Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa has asked the Centre to secure the release of 4 fishermen arrested by Sri Lankan navy on Tuesday. In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ms. Jayalalithaa said, 84 boats apprehended by the neighbouring country in the past on charges of violating international maritime boundary should also be released. <br/><br/>She has demanded a decisive action to create a mechanism to find a lasting solution to the issue. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has decided to release 99 other Indian fishermen arrested in the past.
