In Chhattisgarh, one Jawan was injured in an encounter with the Naxalites in the Bijapur district on Thursday afternoon. Official sources said that the encounter took place between the Cobra Batallion and the Naxalites near Timmapur in the district. The injured Jawan has since been admitted to the local hospital.On the other hand, Naxalites have also killed two persons in two separate incidents yesterday in Rajnandgaon and the Narayanpur district, suspecting them to be police informers.
