Mr Jawahar Sircar has taken over as the new Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati. He assumed charge of office in New Delhi this afternoon in place of Mr Rajiv Takru who is serving in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as Additional Secretary and was holding the temporary charge of CEO. Earlier, Mr Sircar was working as Secretary Culture to Government of India. He has since resigned to take over as CEO of Prasar Bharati.
