Javadekar hits out at Rahul Gandhi for accusing NDA Govt of waiving off loans

<span style="color: #222222;">Information and Broadcasting Minister and senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar today hit out at the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for accusing the National Democratic Alliance Government of waiving off the loans. Talking to media in New Delhi, Mr Javadekar said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not waived off any kind of loan and the action is going on against the defaulters. He said, Rahul Gandhi should understand about the difference between writing off and waiving off.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Javadekar said that writing off is a normal accounting process where the account which is in default is taken off the book but it does not mean that there is no dues. He clarified that writing off does not stop banks from taking action and from recovery of loan. The Minister said, in case of fugitive Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya, action was taken. Mr Javadekar said, recovery efforts are going on and major parts of the defaults have already been recovered.</span><br />
