Coming down heavily on Congress for disrupting the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament, Union Minister for Environment and Forests Prakash Javadekar today said that during its rule and even today as an opposition Congress party has done harm to country's progress. Addressing a press Conference in Mumbai on Saturday, Javadekar said a frequent Stalling of Parliament proceeding is detrimental to the country's interests.

He accused Congress of skipping debates when in power, resulting into disruption of Parliament and now being in the opposition the party has adopted an adamant posture, as a result of which the Parliament cannot transact any business He also said that despite Congress's attempts to paint the Modi regime as a non-performing one, the government has able to deliver and achieve a few visible milestones.

Requesting Congress members to carry on the parliament working efficiently for remaining session , the Minister surmised that task of nation building is all about working together setting aside narrow partisan differences.
