Union Minister of State for Environment and Forest Prakash Javadekar has called upon the Forest Officers to adopt a human centric approach in forest management. He was addressing Annual Convocation of IFS Probationers at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy in Dehradun today. <br/><br/>Exhorting the young officers to be honest and committed to the society Mr Javadekar said that a good forester sees job satisfaction in harmonious relations with society in general and with those living around the forests in particular. <br/><br/>He also called for a pragmatic approach in implementation of Forest rules. The 70 IFS probationers, who accomplished their course today, included 28 lady probationers and 2 foreign trainees from Bhutan.
