In Haryana, law and order situation is under control now. A government spokesman said that the highways, roads and railway tracks are being cleared. The national highway 8 has been opened for traffic. Northern railways is running a special train between Chandigarh and Delhi to clear backlog of passengers.<br/><br/>The Army and paramilitary forces have taken control Munak canal and repair work has been started to restore water supply to Delhi. It is expected, the water will reach Delhi by this evening. A spokesman of Haryana government told that Haryana Cabinet will meet today to decide the issue of Jat reservation.<br/><br/>Notably state President of BJP Subhash Barala and BJP General Secretary and incharge of Haryana Affairs Anil Jain had said yesterday that Haryana government will table a bill in the coming Vidhansabha session to give reservation to Jats.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, curfew was today lifted from Hissar and Hansi towns in Jat stir-hit Haryana. An official spokesman said that curfew has been lifted in view of the improvement in the situation. <br/><br/>Security personnel will keep a vigil till restoration of normalcy, he said.<br/>Road traffic on national and state highways from Hissar to various destinations, including Delhi, Chandigarh, Sirsa, Siwani and Bhiwani, however, remained suspended.<br/><br/>Railway services from Hissar to places, including Delhi, Ludhiana, Bhiwani and Sadulpur were also not operational.<br/><br/>Spokesman of All India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti Ram Bhagat Malik said in Hissar that they would hold a meeting later this afternoon and then decide on the future course of action.
