Jat quota agitation: Haryana CM to meet Protest leaders tomorrow

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal is meeting Jat agitation leaders at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi ahead of the proposed march by Jat agitators tomorrow. The Chief Minister has appealed to Jat protestors, demanding quota in education and employment, to have a dialogue with government. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Delhi Police has imposed prohibitory in the national capital ahead of the proposed march. A three-tier security cover will be in place with 110 companies of external force assisting Delhi Police in maintaining vigil. Entry of people to Lutyens' Delhi will be restricted from 11 tonight. <br/><br/>Metro rail services will not be available at all stations outside Delhi-NCR from 11:30 tonight till further orders. The services will be affected on Guru Dronacharya to Huda City Centre, Kaushambi to Vaishali, Noida Sector 15 to Noida City Centre and Sarai to Escorts Mujesar. Twelve stations in Central Delhi will also be shut from 8 in the evening. The affected stations in Delhi include Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Janpath, Pragati Maidan and Shivaji stadium. However, interchange facilities will be available at all intersections.<br/><br/>Bona fide residents, employees working in offices situated in Lutyens' Delhi, emergency vehicles, entrance exam candidates, ambulance, fire brigade, and school buses will only be allowed entry after furnishing proof. <br/><br/>CBSE has also issued an advisory for Class 10th and 12th students appearing in exam in Delhi in light of the agitation. It has advised students to take necessary measures to reach the examination centres well before the scheduled time to avoid any inconvenience.
