Former BJP leader Mr Jaswant Singh has resigned from the Chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament.<br/>Talking to reporters in Parliament complex, Mr Jaswant Singh said that his resignation has been accepted by the Speaker of Lok Sabha on Wednesday.<br/>Mr Singh said that the resignation will come in affect from 31st of this month. He will complete three pending reports by the 24th of this month before his tenure ends.<br/>He had submitted his resignation on Monday. The BJP has been demanding him to vacate the post following his expulsion from the party.
