The Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court, Jasti Chelameswar has been transferred as the Chief Justice of Kerala High Court.<br/><br/> <br/>Justice Ranjan Gogoi, the senior most judges in the Guwahati High Court would be the acting Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court till a new Chief Justice is appointed.<br/><br/><br/>Jasti Chelameswar assumed charge as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court on May 3, 2007.
