Japan will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tamil Nadu Government on Small and medium enterprises to invest in state. Addressing a function in New Delhi today Chairman of Japan Chamber and Commerce and Industry (JCCI) Mr. Tadashi Okamura said that memorandum will prompt Japanese's businessman especially manufacture sector to take greater interest in India .

He also said that Japanese entrepreneurs are willing to invest in the infrastructure sector of India. He added Japanese firms are kin to invest in Delhi – Mumbai Industrial Corridor and the Dedicated Freight Corridor. Mr. Okamura expressed hope that Japan will get opportunity to contribute in India's sustained growth through such infrastructure project.
