<span style="color: #222222;">In a strong support to India over the clash with China in Galwan Valley, Japan has said that it opposes any unilateral attempts to change the status quo in the region. Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla had yesterday briefed Japanese Ambassador Satoshi Suzuki over the telephone on the situation along the Line of Actual Control.<br />'' <br />'' The Japanese Ambassador Satoshi Suzuki said that Japan hopes for peaceful resolution of the row through dialogues. He tweeted that Japan appreciates the Government of India's policy to pursue peaceful resolution. He said that Japan hopes for peaceful resolution through dialogues and opposes any unilateral attempts to change the status quo.<br />'' <br />'' Japan and India are key strategic partners for each other in the Indo-Pacific region and are also part of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue. So far, India has discussed the standoff with a few of its strategic partners including the US, Russia, Australia, Germany, France and Japan.</span><br />
