In the Japan Open Super Series Badminton Tournament, Indian shuttler P V Sindhu will clash with Japanese Akane Yamaguchi in the second round of women's singles at Tokyo today. Eight seeded Sindhu brushed aside local shuttler Yukino Nakai 21-12, 21-13 yesterday. In the Men's Singles, Anand Pawar, K Srikanth, Ajay Jayaram, H S Prannoy and combine of Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy also won their respective matches to enter the pre-quaterfinals. However, B. Sai Praneeth, Tanvi Lad and Sourabh Verma were knocked out of the second round. World No 37 Anand Pawar scripted a 21-17 7-21 21-18 victory over world number 12 Indonesian Sony Dwi Kuncoro.
