The Lok Sabha was informed today that the Japanese government has begun issuing temporary visitor visas to Indian nationals with five-year validity. This entitles them multiple entries with the facility to stay up to 30 days in Japan on each entry. <br/><br/>Minister of State for External Affairs V.K. Singh said simplification of visa procedure will help increase people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. Besides enhancing tourism, this would also improve business relations between India and Japan.
