On the first day of the men's Olympic football tournament yesterday Japan upset Spain 1-0 , while Brazil held on for a 3-2 victory over Egypt and host Britain had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Senegal.Uruguay and Belarus also won yesterday. The Men's Football Event kicked off yesterday, one day prior to the much awaited opening ceremony.The group stage of the tournament is set to end on August 1 with the Gold Medal match to be played on August 11.
