<span style="color: #222222;">In Japan, Government's regulatory panel has approved the use of  COVID-19 antiviral treatment pill called Molnupiravir developed by Merck & Co Inc. National broadcaster NHK reported that the approval was widely expected and opens the door to shipments of 200,000 doses across the country from this weekend.</span>
