Japanese prime minister has apologised for the suffering his country has caused in the Second World War. During a memorial service to mark the 65th anniversary of Japan's surrender in the world war-II, Mr.Naoto Kan expressed deep regret and offered sincere feelings of condolence to those who suffered and their families. Emperor Akihito also expressed his heartfelt condolences for the war dead and prayed for world peace on the occasion.
