25th January will be observed as National Voters Day. Sixty years ago it was on this day that the Election Commission of India was established. The union cabinet today approved the proposal moved by the Election Commission. Speaking to reporters after cabinet meeting, Information and Broadcasting minister Ambika Soni said that all expenditure on the voters day will be borne by the Election Commission.
