In Karnataka, the Tourism Minister and mine owner Mr. Janardhan Reddy has blamed several Congress leaders of illegal mining and encroachment. <br/><br/>Talking to newsmen in Bangalore today he claimed that his allegations are based on Lokayuktha report submitted in 2008. Mr. Reddy said, the State Government has issued stoppage notices against these mine owners and lodged FIRs. <br/><br/>He disclosed that the Government will soon recover the encroached land and collect penalty from them for mining beyond their licensed areas. <br/><br/>The Minister said, the Supreme Court and a Committee constituted by the Andhra Pradesh Government have given his mining company a clean chit. He challenged the Opposition in Karnataka to entrust enquiry to any investigating agency including the CBI.
