In Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu district has topped the table of District Good Governance Index (DGGI 3.0) with an overall score of 6.37 out of 10. Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta on Friday released the 3rd edition of District Good Governance Index 3.0 along with performance of districts in achieving a set of 385 deliverables given to them during 2022-23. The Jammu district is followed by Samba at 2nd place with a score of 6.17 and Srinagar (6) at 3rd place.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The DGGI parameters to measure the performances of districts consist of 58 indicators under 10 sectors that include Agriculture &amp; Allied sector, Commerce &amp; Industry, Human Resource Development, Public Health Sector, Public Infrastructure &amp; Utilities, Social Welfare &amp; Development, Financial Inclusion, Legal &amp; Public Safety, Environment and Citizen-Centric Governance. Akashwani Jammu correspondent reports that J&amp;K was the first to successfully set up this governance model two years back and is now being considered for replication by other States/UTs in the country.</span><br />
