The Jammu – Srinagar National Highway closed at Patnitop and near Jawahar tunnel in Banihal has been partially opened for the vehicular movement on Monday afternoon. The road had been closed on Sunday morning as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident due to slippery conditions in view of snowfall and fog. <br/><br/>AIR Ramban Correspondent, Ravinder Kitchloo reports that the traffic authorities, however, are allowing only the stranded light passenger vehicles from Jammu to Srinagar and the heavy vehicles from Srinagar are not being allowed to Jammu at this moment. The work of road clearing is going on side by side as snowfall has stopped and the sky is clear.
