Jammu-Srinagar National Highway partially opened

After remaining closed since Monday, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was partially opened for one-way traffic on Tuesday evening.The vehicles stranded near the Jawahar tunnel and Ramban area were allowed to move towards Kashmir Valley after 5pm. Due to fresh snowfall and landslides the 294 km long national highway connecting the Kashmir Valley with rest of the country was closed for all vehicular movement as there was heavy snowfall at several areas in the Jawahar tunnel-Patnitop area.
