Jammu spends 160 crore rupees on various centrally sponsored schemes

In Jammu and Kashmir, a whooping sum of 160 crore rupees has been spent under various centrally sponsored schemes in Jammu District during last financial year. This include an amount of 61 crore rupees spend under 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th phase of Pradhan Manti Gram Sadak Yojna. The information was given at first meeting of District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee of Jammu which was held under the chairmanship of Member Parliament, Mr. Madan Lal Sharma and was attended by all the MLAs of Jammu. Besides taking stock of achievements of all Rural Development Centrally sponsored schemes, the meeting deliberated upon various innovative and multi-pronged strategies to make the implementation of these vital schemes more cohesive and effective.<br/>
