Intense cold wave continued to grip the whole of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu region recorded lowest day temperature in the last 28 years. It was 6.7 degree Celsius, which is nearly 11 degree Celsius below normal. The night temperature in the region also declined sharply. It was 4.5 degree Celsius this morning. Dense fog continued to affect normal life in the region disrupting rail, road and air traffic.
