Jammu & Kashmir: Corona cases rise to 4,346

<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the positive cases of Novel Corona virus have risen to 4,346 with a sharp rise during the last two weeks only. But the number of positive cases which were reported yesterday showed a decrease in the number.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The number of Corona virus cases reported daily in Jammu and Kashmir have dropped below 100 mark after a gap of two weeks as 61 people were tested positive for the infection yesterday raising the total number of positive cases in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 4,346.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Territory had recorded 961 positive cases only in three days as 198 cases were reported on Monday, massive 620 on Sunday and 143 cases on Saturday causing sleepless nights among the residents of Kashmir due to the growing number of positive cases in Kashmir Division.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Yesterday, after a gap of almost two weeks, the number of positive cases have significantly dropped to the two-digit figure which somehow brought cheers to the population of Kashmir region. Meanwhile, a good news has come from Kupwara district of North Kashmir where with 116 recoveries have taken place during the last three days and the active positive cases have fallen as low as 156. Consequently, the frontier district is steadily improving its record vis-a-vis its fight against the Novel Corona virus pandemic prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir.</span><br />''
