Jammu boils as heatwave continues

In Jammu and Kashmir, the winter capital of Jammu yesterday witnessed another hot day as the maximum temperature was recorded over 40 degree Celsius. According to weather department, Jammu city yesterday recorded the maximum temperature of 40.9 degree Celsius which was the season's highest temperature so far. AIR correspondent reports that people preferred to stay indoors to avoid direct contact with sunlight.
